Children's Ministries
At Oak Grove we realize the need to partner with parents to train up a child in the way she/he should go. Therefore, we offer the following children ministries: Sunday school, children's church, Awana, and children's choir reaching and teaching children from newborn - 6th grade. Nursery
A loving, caring nursery is provided for newborns to age three. The nurseries are located in our new building and provide up-to date facilities to care for your precious little one.
Sunday School & Children's Church
Sunday School and children's church is available from ages 3 through the 6th grade. The following classes are available: 3-K, 1st-3rd grade, and 4th-6th grade. To more effectively ministry to the children during our worship hour, we also offer children's church for the following ages: 3-K, 1st - 6th grade. The children participate in the first part of the worship service and are then dismissed for their own lesson time.
Awana
An Awana program is offered on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00pm for ages 3 - 6th grade: 3-4 year olds participate in Cubbies, K-2nd grade in Sparks, and 3rd-6th grade in Truth & Training. Awana provides a fun, yet structured environment, to allow the children an opportunity to memorize God's Word, be taught from God's Word, and play games. Graded choirs
To allow the children an opportunity to participate in song and celebration we offer children's choirs. The children's choirs meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:15 - 6:00 for ages 3-K and 1st to 6th grade. For those interested in participating in both the children's choir and Awana a supper is offered from 6:00-6:30pm in the Fellowship hall.
